INTERNATIONAL EFFICIENCY At our modern new laboratory outside Cape Town, ALBA Laboratories specialises in developing plant tissue cultures that meet the highest international standards of excellence. ALBA was launched in 2000 by Dr. Ir. Michiel van Asch. A graduate of the Agricultural University Wageningen, the Netherlands, and the University of Natal, South Africa, he has gained over 10 years' extensive experience in plant tissue culture and management, most of it at the Preesman B.V. laboratory in Holland.
